Why I saw this movie: Alien prequel? Maybe. Ridley Scott has been away for a while now and decides to come back and make another "alien" movie. Haven't we had enough by now? I guess not. We haven't even come close to having enough yet! I mean, c'mon, this is Ridley Scott making a movie, not Michael Bay. We're all looking forward to this.
What was good: The acting! Yes, the acting! I love it when directors decide to bring on some people that we have seen in maybe one or two movies and show off their talents. I don't want to see Brad Pitt and George Clooney in every film. I really liked the story line in Prometheus. Scientists going to another "planet" to find our long lost ancestors, now that is great! Charlize Theron plays a great commander of the ship, while Noomi Rapace escapes out of her Dragon Tattoo to play a scientist (with a great body). Need I say how phenomenal Michael Fassbender plays his character? Just watch and see. I think he might be my new favorite actor now!
What was bad: It left the movie hanging... sort off. I think that was the plan from Ridley, but I wanted more. Also the ship not really carrying any guns on board was kind of wrong. Without giving away too much, they just didn't explain enough about the "aliens"
